Terms of Service
These terms explain how CardShake works and what we expect from members. CardShake connects collectors; deals, payments and shipping happen directly between members.
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. What CardShake is
CardShake is a marketplace where sports-card and TCG collectors list their own cards, browse other members' listings, and arrange trades and sales directly with each other. It is "a local card show, but online."
CardShake never holds cards, cash, or payment details. Members pay and ship to each other directly. CardShake is not a party to any deal and does not take a cut of any transaction.
2. Accounts
You need one account per person. Keep your handle clean and your contact email current — deals and support reach you through it. You are responsible for anything done under your account. Do not share your password.
By creating an account you agree to the community rules. Serious or repeated violations can get your account suspended.
3. Listings and inventory
List only cards you own or control. Describe them honestly: condition, grade, grading company, cert number, serials and variations. Asking prices and "Best offer" flags are your own — CardShake shows a separate market estimate for reference but you set your price.
Do not list stolen, counterfeit, altered, or misrepresented cards. Do not create listings you don't intend to honor.
4. Deals and payments
When both members confirm a deal, it is locked. Payment handles are shared only between the two members in that deal. Honor the payment and shipping steps you agreed to: send payment as promised, ship within the required window with tracking when the rules require it, and confirm receipt.
The full payment, shipping and dispute process lives in the Trade & Shipping Rules. It is part of these terms.
5. Conduct
No foul, threatening, or harassing language. No spam, scams, or pressure to move money off-platform in ways that dodge accountability. No fake reviews, review swapping, or rating manipulation. No scraping or automated abuse of the site.
6. Reviews and reports
Reviews exist so partners can vouch for each other. Only rate someone after a real deal, and rate the deal — not the person's disagreements with you. Members can be reported for misconduct; reports are handled by the CardShake team.
7. Membership, trial and billing
New members get a 7-day free trial (with a few free listings). After the trial, membership is $7.99/month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → Membership; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Because cards and money never move through CardShake, there are no listing fees and no sales fees — ever. Trial and promo terms may vary; we'll always show them before you pay.
We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Refunds for billing mistakes are handled through the contact page.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided as-is. Market estimates come from third-party sources and are for reference only — they are not appraisals and not guarantees of price. CardShake does not verify every card, grade, or member, and makes no guarantee of a card's condition, grade, or authenticity. Trade at your own judgment, check feedback, and ask questions before you commit.
Because deals happen directly between members, CardShake is not liable for losses, damaged or undelivered cards, payment disputes, or anything that happens between members. You are responsible for your deals, shipping, taxes, and complying with the laws that apply to you. To the fullest extent the law allows, Card CardShake's total liability to you is limited to what you paid CardShake in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Promo codes
Promo codes may grant free membership, extended trials or other perks. Codes are personal, non-transferable, and may be limited in quantity or expire. Codes can't be exchanged for cash and CardShake can end a code program at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these terms and the rules as the marketplace grows. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use CardShake after a change means you accept it.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms, reports, or an account: use the contact page. We answer as quickly as we can. CardShake is operated by CardShake, LLC, 6625 Argyle Forest Blvd, Ste 4 #1073, Jacksonville, FL 32244.
